Problem with aircrack and Wordlist

Hello,

I have a problem with aircrack-ng. When I try to find the right Key from a .cap file. My Pc do this for 10 minuts but then the
Pc goes off. (Without a shutdown screen) The pc is off. I use Backtrack 5 R3. please Help.

ps: Of cours the network that I try to crack is my own one. I just want to check how safe it is.

Hi Marcel,
- Check the temperature of the CPUs, it's probably too high then the PC is shut down for safety reasons.
(If you're using a laptop make sure that the graphics card fan is clean)

this happened with me before, the filesystem never checked on boot either and the problem was the temperature of the cpu.

i actually solved this temporarly by turning the laptop upside down, it had an intake vent underneath and pumped the heat out of the side, however my leg would cover this vent when on my lap or left on the sofa (which was where i left it)

By default, it uses all the CPUs. You decrease the amount of CPU used.
