Wireless N

hi all

I'm looking to upgrade my wireless card, currently have WUSB54G but now looking for something with a little more "oomph" like a wireless "N" card with MIMO.
I have had a look on the compatibility page and doesn't seem to help much I found a card Edimax EW-7718Un which is based on a RT2870 chipset, does anyone know if this supports injection?

I really don't care what card I get but once drivers and everything has been installed my WUSB54G has been a dream so does anyone have a wireless N card that works fine with aircrack-ng?
If so please post brand name and model

You should REALLY state what kind of card you're looking for: PCI, PCMCIA, Express Card, USB, etc.

There are a number of N cards that work with aircrack-ng.  DWA-643 express card, I personally have, and the newest alfa AWUS050NH has also been confirmed to work.  Search the board, plenty of information on compatible N cards.

sorry, ye definately looking for a USB, something for external antenna would be a +.

  I am curious about the AWUS050NH card.  OK, it does injection.  Does it succeed at fragmentation, chopchop, etc.?  I've got cards that do injection and I thought I could do anything.  Now I'm having problems getting them to do fragmentation.  I'd love an N interface, but I'm more wary now.

Have you SEARCHED and read?? There are several posts by myself and Jano on here and the remote-exploit forums confirming ALL attacks work.  Search and read, 90% of the time your questioned is answered somewhere.

As far as you having cards that ONLY do injection but not fragmentation, I suggest you see if the card requires any patches for fragmentation.  I rarely have had any cards that "do injection" but not "fragmentation".
