Topic: Does airoscript work with cards tha require airmon-ng to be put in monitor mode? (Read 3127 times)

Hey
I was wondering if airoscript works with cards that require airmon-ng to be put in monitor mode. I have a 4965AGN and I use the interface mon0 and I select "No" when I ask it to be put for monitor mode and when I ask it to scan for networks it does not work. It just goes right back to the main menu.

Yes, it should work with most cards supporting monitor mode. Please retry with the very latest version of airoscript-ng.

Tried and fail. It pops up another terminal window when I try to scan for networks but then closes in a second and returns to the main menu. What could be wrong?

Unless there is a new driver out, I don't think the 4965 works with airoscript. It needs a special process using wpa_supplicant to perform the fake authentication/association.......which is not part of airoscript.

can enyone tell me why when i type sudo airolib-ng db --import essid essidlist.txt it's apear message: sudo airolib-ng db2 --import essid essidlist.txt Database <db2> does not already exist, creating it... Database <db2> sucessfully created Could not open file/stream for reading. pls help me  |

does essidlist.txt exist in the current directory? FYI, that's a bit offtopic in this part of the forum.

Hi 6n4_bg , - Follow the suggestion of Mister_X (referring to file essidlist.txt) and then checks the database (db2) created by Airolib-ng using this command: airolib-ng db2 --stats - This for verifying the contents and what percentage of PMK pre-computed. Bye Jano |

Ummm... WHAT?
First of all, have you tried telling "yes"? It'll create and autodetect monX interface... Please, read the docs and changelogs.
And second, alacrityathome, can you explain me better that wpasupplicant thing? I can't get how wpasupplicant is used to fake auth to weps...
