Hello everyone, I use airodump-ng for the monitoring of wifi network.
I need the PWR value of the station; I read in the airodump-ng page http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=airodump-ng#airodump-ng_keeps_switching_between_wep_and_wpa, but I have some doubts.
The value that I see is the PWR value of the last packet that I sniffed or is the avarage of all PWR? Or something else?
Another question: in that page, I read that the PWR value depends on the distance: Perfect!! I need the distance of all station, but this distance is between the station and the AP, or between the station and the device that I use for the sniffing?
Thanks for any help!

Short answer, yes, the last packet.
Longer answer: It depends what is the refresh rate (default: 1 second) and when the last packet was received. It is the most recent time between refresh and the last packet that was received/processed before refreshing happened.
