I look under my phone's settings and it says wifi device Mac address F0:D0:8C:5A:62:E9 under about phone. That means it is my phone's Mac address?

If the phone is not actively transmitting, you won't see anything.

Or your capture device isn't able to capture it: for example when the phone is 802.11ac and the capture device is 802.11n

My smartphone's Mac address is F0:D0:8C:5A:62:E9. But when I run sudo airodump-ng wlan0mon, I don't see my smartphone's Mac address under station. Why not?

If you just run 'aireplay-ng', you'll see, it's quite obvious. If you're lazy, you can grep for client. There is also the man pages that you can search (man aireplay-ng), and even the wiki.

Please do me a favor, and learn to use the available help to get answer to basic question such as this.

It means that the screen is off, like when your phone is in your pocket and you're not using it.

What does screen is turned off mean? While my computer is sending deauth packets, my smartphone is turned on and I am looking at settings to make sure the smartphone gets disconnected from the access point.
