Have you actually tried?

>>run 8x "airolib-ng database --batch &"

Although I have given this example, I think of these 8 instances will compete with each other. I'm afraid of they will write the same data in the same area of database, making the process even slower.

Sugestions please.

I'm not familiar with that 'parallel' command, but yeah, the airolib-ng command looks good.

Any good soul could give a little help?

1) airolib-ng database --import essid essid.txt ;
2) airolib-ng database --import passwd passwd.lst ;
3) airolib-ng database --clean --all ;

4) (I'm bit confused here)
 run 8x "airolib-ng database --batch &"  ?
 parallel -j 8  airolib-ng database --batch ?

Can you help me please?

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

Operating system is Debian Bullseye and Airolib is Airolib-ng 1.6 rev d7d8c075 (compiled from source).

I want to create a database (from a dictionary within 10 millions of passwords) compatible with aircrack-ng (-r parameter). So I'm running airolib-ng to do that. The issue is airolib is using only 1 core of my of 8 cores cpu so it's being extremely slow.

Is there a way to force Airolib to use all the cpu cores in this task?

Thank you in advance.
