No. Run 8 instances.

I suggest following the guides in the wiki. A single deauth already sends 64/128 deauth, but if you keep doing it, the station will never do the 4-way handshake. Another thing: some devices stay disconnected.

Hi all, I followed this guide and got to the point of starting the deauth between BSSID and a client as the shell suggested me after trying only the BSSID, but then what? If I don't specify a number of deauth it would stop after like 5, I tried with up to 200 but then I never get any message a handshake has been captured. I see numbers on both sides of ACKs during the deauth. Could someone guide me through?
Thanks.

Hello everyone,

Operating system is Debian Bullseye and Airolib is Airolib-ng 1.6 rev d7d8c075 (compiled from source).

I want to create a database (from a dictionary within 10 millions of passwords) compatible with aircrack-ng (-r parameter). So I'm running airolib-ng to do that. The issue is airolib is using only 1 core of my of 8 cores cpu so it's being extremely slow.

Is there a way to force Airolib to use all the cpu cores in this task?

Thank you in advance.

I think this is the answer as per https://forum.aircrack-ng.org/index.php/topic,999.msg3017.html#msg3017:

Well, you'll need a mac80211 driver. If Phy says 'null' then I would say it is not mac80211 and it's a vendor driver (and they NEVER, EVER support monitor mode out of the box).

There is a patch for it, but it will need an update as it conflicts with current code (and interactive key 'o' is already taken): https://github.com/aircrack-ng/aircrack-ng-archive/pull/9

Open a feature request on github for both.

1. As workarounds, you can resize your terminal. Or parse the CSV with some scripting.
2. I believe you can see both AP and clients/devices manufacturer in the netxml output

Let's say I am using airodump-ng with this command line:

Code: [Select]
# airodump-ng wlan1mon --manufacturer
1) How can I limit the output to just the top 10 or top 20 ?  I have a ton of wifi traffic around here and I don't need to see all 100 of them ...

2) I am using the --manufacturer command line switch, but that only displays the manufacturer for the access points. The second grouping on the screen - the clients - do not get a manufacturer tag. I would think the clients are at least as important as the APs so it really should show --manufacturer for both groups ...

Thank you.
