Have you read the documentation in the wiki?
Have you tried Kali?
Have you done an injection test?

Hello
I have the wireless card that i state in the title.

I cannot find much info on this adapter, it seems to be somewhat new.

To those that know, I would be so appreciated if you could help me out some.
Is my wireless card compatible with Aircrack-ng suite ? For monitor/inject ?

Do I need another driver for it to work with inject and such? (Im running iwlwifi driver right now and I can surf the net and I managed to get a handshake result from WIFITE but it took A long time to get it and test WPS but then it was on a wifi FAR FAR away.....

Thanks in advance!

That is perfectly normal behavior.

As you can see in my post I run the commands:

ifconfig card_name down
iwconfig card_name mode monitor
ifconfig card_name up

"connection crashes" simply means that the network disconnects: this is the "error".

No, i've not killed network manager. I'll try to do kill it.

Maybe airmon-ng is optimized to do this work. Also with airmon-ng i need to kill network manager, so what difference exixts between the linux commands and the airmon-ng ?

Thanks in advance.

Define "the connection crashes". What program is crashing? What's the command you ran? What is the error?

Out of curiosity, have you killed the network managers? And why not using airmon-ng?

hello everybody,

i'm using a tplink tl-wn722n wifi usb stick to sniff wireless traffic with wireshark but it seems to me that it doesn't work well and is instable.
I use a ubuntu 16.04, i've not installed aircrack. I only set the monitor mode using the following cammands:

ifconfig card_name down
iwconfig card_name mode monitor
ifconfig card_name up

After few minutes the connection crashes. Why ?

Please, suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Vincenzo.

dude, I don't do spoonfeeding.

As for the functions, if you took the time to look them up, you would have figured out they are public domain pretty much and they are present in a bunch of SSL libraries too such as OpenSSL (and probably GnuTLS, PolarSSL, etc).

Yes, but it needs to do all the calculations based on the information in the handshake.

A cracker in JS will be pretty slow.

isnt airdecap-ng is to extract information from the cap file? and not for cracking passwords!!???

i want to brute force a wpa key in another programming language!!
i wand the (hmac_md5) function and  (pbkdf2_sha1) and the (sha1_prf pseudo random function) functions written in code! so i can reprogram them in javascript
