what is the WHOLE output? When describing an error or something, and not only this, it is often useful to give the whole output, especially if it's not very long. For example, in case compilation fails, it ends with something like 'make ... error', which is useless. What is needed is either the full output or the last few lines, and that will tell where the issue is (and on top of it, in some cases, the command to run the compilation).

In most cases, it appends 'mon' to the interface name, so in this case 'wlan1mon'

Airmon-ng start wlan1 outputs (mac80211 monitor mode already enabled for [phy2]wlan1 on [phy2]10). What is now the name of the monitoring interface?
