Broadcom compatible
« on: December 31, 2016, 02:49:26 pm »

Hi guys!

After hours of researching I will try and find my answers here.
I'm using Retina MacBook Pro 13', running Kali Live USB Persisten on it.
Network adapter which is, Chipset: BCM43602, PCI device ID: 14e4:43ba.
Now at linuxwireless.org it says that the Network Adapter is supported, but does it support Aircrack-ng?
I'm getting a error message when [Airmon-ng start wlan0], says it's not supported(-95).
Do I need to install the designated driver, or does it not support my network adapter at all?
Humbly thanks in for forehand.

Best regards,

EmphaPsy

Partial error messages are useless. Post full error messages.

Hi,
I own a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) and i wanted to know if there is a way to put my wireless card in monitor mode, This is what I get if i enter iwconfig command in kali terminal:

root@kali:~# iwconfig
eth0      no wireless extensions.

lo        no wireless extensions.

root@kali:~#

My wireless interface report:

en0:
Card Type:   AirPort Extreme  (0x14E4, 0xEF)
  Firmware Version:   Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (7.21.171.68.1a5)
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the same MacBook model and I have yet to find a solution.
Did find this though: https://www.aircrack-ng.org/~~V/doku.php?id=b43

Seems PCI ID 14e4:43ba is simply not supported.

Can they add support for this?
