M11X r1 Compatible?

Does anyone know whether or not the m11x r1 is compatible with aircrack-ng? And if the OS matters I can just run a VM right? Thanks so much. So sorry if this is a newb question... I know very little about wifi...

Well, as explained in the wiki, if you plan on using the internal wireless card in a VM, it's not gonna work. If you're using a VM, you MUST use a USB card.

However, if you boot Kali, it should. I mean it should because I have no idea what's the chipset of your card.

Just get a cheap ass usb stick and boot from a live kali usb, thats the easiest version
